The hotel is beautiful, nice lobby with places to sit and rest, I did not visit the hotel restaurant, there is an elevator in the hotel but I was on the ground floor. A large room with 2 levels, you can control the intensity of the light in the entire room, robes and slippers are included, air conditioner built into the ceiling. In the upper part, a bed, 2 armchairs and a table, next to each side of the bed there are 2 electrical sockets. In the lower part, a cupboard with a mini bar (expensive), kettle, coffee/tea, glasses for hot/cold drinks and wine (each type separately 2 glasses) in addition a table (kitchenette?) with 1 chair and 2 sockets and the bathroom. A beautiful bathroom, there is a separate shower and bathtub, 2 sinks and 2 faucets, the hotel provides disposable toothbrushes, tissue comb and other nice accessories for the stay.

The location of the hotel was outstanding -- perfect for walkers which we are. Very easy walk to beautiful Vondel Park, easy walk to all major museums, and to Center through wonderful shopping and restaurants. Hotel is on side street so very quiet, offers a great hot and cold breakfast. Staff is friendly. On the down side: our room was on ground floor next to delivery door. Linen trolleys lined the hall and even blocked our door. There are LOTS of stairs. Luckily we travel light so could negotiate them ourselves as help was not offered. Internet was very poor but luckily I had my own service with unlimited data. Tv entertainment limited. And it was expensive -- by far the most expensive hotel we stayed in on our entire trip. If not for excellent location we would have been very unhappy.

Our rooms had a nice view to the inner gardens - trees and bird visitors. Bathroom and bed comfort were the best: I loved the floor heating in the bathroom, the shower mechanics (finally no cold water coming at your head right away), also loved the amazing towels and bed linen and the comfy bed. Bathroom had an overall strong modern character. Restaurant interieur is charming with a wide variety of choices for breakfast. We also liked the bar. The lovely staff stored our suitcases locked away after checkout, they have limited room to do so though. What was neutral, overall, is that this is an industrial hotel endeavur squeezed into a narrow-passaged old townhouse with uneven floors. A little confusing as the charm gets lost, but the corridors stay for you to navigate around others.

The location is perfect! It's on a quieter side street just a short (less than 5 min walk) to an active shopping and restaurant area. All modes of transportation are easily accessible from here -including a bike rental shop. It is close to a huge park, grocery stores, cafes, museums, and beautiful architecture. For an extra fee, you could enjoy an extensive breakfast to begin your day. The air conditioning, fairly big room, large working windows and comfortable extra large bed made our stay extremely comfortable.

Location was great. Staff were lovely, professional and always happy to assist with any questions. On arrival Mohammed checked us in and was very helpful with all our questions. He always greeted us with a smile and was genuinely interested in hearing about our day, he made our stay in Amsterdam memorable with all his recommendations of things to do and see.
